DAV ALOK PUBLIC SCHOOL is an English Medium Public School. The SCHOOL was set up in Year 2000 A.D. by D.SAHA D.A.V. CHARITABLE TRUST OF INDIA formed by a group of educationalist at Ranchi. Mainly three person ("Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha", "Dr. Alok Kumar", "Dr. Ashok Kumar") from the education field desire to establish a school for the rural and semi urban student belonging from medium to lower medium family. It made a very humble beginning with the great noble aim that help the education growth in this rural area.

The school, at present, has a strength of more than 1100 students up to +2 level (Science and commerce) and is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi. With all state-of-the-art facilities, modern technologies, education aids , competent and dedicated teachers, the school provides very congenial environment for all round personality development of child and prepares them with the knowledge of our rich Vedic values as well as tenets of modern competitive world of Science & Technology (computers, internets, e-mails & other electronic tech.) so that they come out with flying colors wherever they go and whatever they choose- the threads of life. Individuals attention is our priority and everything possible is done to crack every hard nut that comes on our way. We 'ignite' the mind and illuminate the soul.

Our approach and efforts have so far yielded good and positive result as in recent years the school has given outstanding performance in class X Board Examination. The School also conduct extra smart classes for those students who dose not catch classes completely. For Student of class X the coaching facilities available to compete the top level competitive exams like IIT, IIIT, NDA, CBSE Engg., All India Medical Entrance,. etc.

The School is running on co-ed basis. The boys and girls study in the same section & classes. The school also have Hostel facilities for the remote area student at very genuine cost.
